NEW this year, we’ve invited in experts to help the “kinder” (that’s “kids” in German) enjoy Oktoberfest as much as their parents! Kids over 9 years old are invited to join their parents on tours exploring the tunnels and caverns under Dick Brothers Brewery complex and York street. But ALL kids can join in the fun below!

German Language, Music, and Dance

  • Infants to 8 years: 2pm to 4pm
  • Teens: 5pm to 6pm

Led by Judy Percy of Music Lingua, kids will be introduced to the delights of the German language through fun, catchy songs that encourages them to dance, laugh, and have fun!

German Art

  • 1pm to 7pm

Kids will discover the joy of creative expression with the talented staff of the Quincy Art Center. Lana Reed and Steven Stoll will lead this hands-on activity will include creating hats, authentic German art stencils, and more.

David and Emily SamuelsGerman Storytelling

  • 4pm to 5pm

Rotarians Randy Stocker and David Samuels, together with former Rotary Exchange Student Emily Samuels, will delight children of all ages with traditional German folk tales and stories.
