Quincy Rotary and Illinois Sportsmen Against Hunger are once again offer FREE PROCESSING of tagged deer. Working with local partners, we’ll distribute the deer meat to hungry families in Adams County.
Hunters may take their tagged deer to the Butcher Block at 819 Maine Street in Quincy or the Golden Locker at 706 Wendell Street in Golden during regular store hours.
Processed deer meat will be donated to several local food pantries including The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army will distribute the meat through our food pantry and emergency shelter programs. The Sportsmen Against Hunger program is funded by the Illinois DNR, Quincy Rotary Club, and a number of local sponsoring businesses.
